Article: January — Different moods. Same you.

January — Different moods. Same you.

January — Different moods. Same you.

January is often described as a fresh start.
A reset. A clean slate.

But for many of us, January feels more like an arrival.

An arrival into something that is already moving —
different moods overlapping rather than lining up neatly.
Energy and resistance. Focus and fog. Wanting change while still holding on.

This month’s poster was created from that place.

Not as a statement, and not as a solution,
but as an acknowledgement that multiple states can exist at the same time.

The faces in the illustration don’t represent stages to pass through.
They aren’t steps forward or backward.
They are simply different expressions of being — coexisting.

January doesn’t ask you to become someone else.
It doesn’t require clarity before you’re allowed to move.
It doesn’t demand a single version of you.

Different moods.
Same you.

This is the starting point of the Monthly Studio Poster series —
a timeline of moments, rather than milestones.

Each month will be marked not by progress,
but by presence.

January begins here.
