Article: Following curiosity

Following curiosity
One thing I’ve realized lately is that creativity rarely moves in a straight line.
Sometimes an idea becomes a pattern.
Sometimes it turns into knitwear, a poster, an illustration — or simply an experiment that opens the door to something else.
I’ve stopped trying to force everything into one category.
What drives me most is curiosity.
The feeling of wanting to explore a color combination, a texture, a material or a technique just to see where it might lead.
Right now, I find myself longing to paint with gouache again.
Not because I have a finished plan, but because I miss the texture, the imperfections and the feeling of paint moving across paper.
I think that’s an important part of creating too — allowing ideas to arrive before knowing exactly what they will become.
Happy Mood Studio continues to grow through these explorations.
Patterns, products, posters, knitwear, visual experiments — different expressions connected by the same curiosity and love for creating.
Maybe the thread running through all of it is simply this:
To follow what feels alive.
